Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival – April
The Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival is an annual event that welcomes the glorious spring season into Loudoun County. The festival features a lineup of more than 150 vendors including gardening suppliers, plant sellers, landscapers, outdoor furniture craftsmen, and more. It’s not all about flowers and gardens, however – guests can also enjoy live music, delicious food, and fun activities for kids.
The Flower and Garden Festival is organized by the Town of Leesburg, and takes place during the third weekend of April every year.
Spring Farm Tour – May
The first of two annual Loudoun Farm Tours, the Spring Farm Tour offers an opportunity for locals and visitors to visit beautiful farms in Loudoun County. The farms nestled in the picturesque valleys of Loudoun County come alive during this time of the year, treating visitors to sweeping views of the Short Hill and Blue Ridge Mountains.
Guests will also be able to enjoy free, self-guided driving tours that will take you to several participating farms as well as craft beverage venues during this county-sponsored event.
Western Loudoun Art & Studio Tour – June
The Western Loudoun Art & Studio Tour is an annual event designed to promote Loudoun Country as a prime arts and cultural destination by organizing a tour that gives art lovers an opportunity to interact with the county’s talented visual artists and get a first-hand look at their creative process. In addition to art studios, the tour also allows participants to experience some of the best attractions around Loudoun, including wineries, restaurants, and shopping venues.
For artists, the yearly event gives them the chance to showcase and offer their work for sale in a studio setting, and allow them to establish their value as an economic and cultural resource for Loudoun County.
Loudoun County Fair – July/August
One of the county’s most anticipated annual events, the Loudoun County Fair welcomes over 20,000 guests each year, and has been increasing steadily since the event started more than 50 years ago.
There’s always a smorgasbord of fun amusements guaranteed to delight attendees at the fair. There are daily events like the “Agricadabra” agriculture themed magic show or “The Marvelous Mutts” dog show, as well as a variety of special one-time events like a live rodeo, lawn mower races, the firefighter competition and the much-anticipated Stoney Roberts Demolition Derby.
Loudoun Restaurant Week– August

Christmas in Middleburg – December
One of the most fun-filled holiday events in Loudoun County is Christmas in Middleburg! This is the perfect festival to welcome the holiday season, as guests can take part in an array of fun holiday-themed activities and special events.
The festival is highlighted by the Middleburg Hunt Review Christmas Parade followed by the Spirits of Middleburg food event, which features a host of participating restaurants, cafés, bistros, and pubs.
